Green Garage Associates' Juice Bar wins Green Building product award.

Sustainable Industries magazine’s panel of judges decided that electric vehicles is something that designers and builders increasingly need to consider. The Juice Bar, manufactured by Connecticut-based Green Garage Associates, includes Level One and Level Two charging ports accommodating four electric vehicles at once.

This is the first time that this prestigious award is given to someone outside the real estate industry, recognizing that EV charging is becoming an integral part of the parking scenery. There are a host of electric vehicle chargers on the market, but Sustainable Industries’ judges liked the Juice Bar’s design best.

The parking industry and by extension the builders and designers who create parking areas, can affect electric vehicle adoption by making charging better designed and more accessible, according to Green Garage Associates.
