Where will EV drivers do their battery recharging? This is a question which goes to the heart of the charging industry. The answer, it seems, depends on where you live, both globally and locally.

Now that some two years have passed since the mass production of electric vehicles began in earnest, and we have gained some perspective on the emerging EV market, we can begin to understand where auto makers succeeded and where they failed in their production strategies. There seems to have been three main modes of thought amongst car makers when designing EVs.

OK, the time has come to buy a new car and you have to decide what to get – a cutting-edge hybrid or a super cutting-edge EV. To some the choice seems obvious. Hybrids have been around for over a decade and their technology has been perfected – while the cars themselves have long ago gone mainstream.
